    um, yeah, whatever.... those were suggestions dumbnuts..... :P anyway Imma make my own mod so I don't have to suggest no more... my only interest was to add to the mod and make it better; I still think it's the best(at least until mine comes out B) ) or if I'm too lazy Imma mod ar2 the way I like it

    I don't care much for the music, I just thought it would be nice since I only like 2 tracks in the hole TS game.... Insertion with hero was a stupid idea, but since more heroes could have been built with the distal genesiums it would be fair bcuz insertion is useless anyway; about the terrain scan, it should really be one hex or two bigger since it's exactly the same as yuri's and doesn't help all that much; u think genesis has the upper hand in superweapons and that's why you put the huge price backlash(which does not have any justification tech-wise/story-wise, but in fact the only thing usefull is the shield bcuz nemesis builds the missile relatively fast then bombards away while genesis stand there getting vinifered since you need the venageium for the shield; and insertion is pretty useless on non-AI players IMO; I launch it in my base for extra defense; and then there's the lumiere which costs to build 2; please reconsider suggestions 3,4,6,7,11,12, 26; every one but the last concernes engineers; the last is the price table which I bothered to compare; the table is a method of balancing without losing uniqeness; you said why do genesis need engineers when they have such an advanced tech here's my 2 answers: 1. if their so advanced how come they don't have an engineer lol 2. the americans are alot more advanced than yuri or the russians and still have engineers;

    sappers are like engineers, they capture every thing and should stay like that;notice that if they capture a gen factory you still can't build their vehicles; same goes for genesiums;

    well, I'm glad that you take these things seriosly; other ppl might not; I really hope u read it all, see what my tiny brain can concoct! Bet you never had a post this big, huh? I really am extremely glad I found this mod, cuz I was soo bored; U guys should get an award IMO; Let's discuss these ideas, I love discussions; 2. allied as in an AI or friend allied with you 3. that's bad bcuz he should auto-aquire, if not he just dies like a moron 6. I meant the sound quality is bad AR2 = MOTHER OF ALL RA2 MODS
  9. sorry for posting this here but I figured it would get more attention..... I. first impression: "OMFG Jesus Christ this is sooo cool I can't stand it, I'm freakin' blinded by the coolness and stuff! w0wZ0rz look at the shiny units and stuff and all the pretty lights! The producers are my new gods and stuff! This is so much better than all those other crapy mods and shiet!" PERIOD!!!!!! II. bugs and errors: 1.when I captured a genesis mechanics factory using a sapper, no genesis land units where added in the vehicles tab; same goes when capturing genesiums; 2. the pissed off technician cannot capture allied vehicles even though there is a capture cursor over them when placed; he just goes near it; I had the same problem when I tried to make a spy capture enemy vehicles in rules.ini; 3. the pissed off technician does not auto-aquire enemies 4. the pissed off technician (notice a patern here lol) has different volume levels for each line he says, I'm guessing you're working on that; 5.wtf is with the speed decrease jeez!!!! I mean on my comp this is impossible!!! I played a map for 6 players: me + 2 AIs vs 3 AIs(side is irrelevant I think); at first everything is smooth and runs according to the selected speed, but later on when moreunits are created and superweapons keep poping up the pc moves worse than my dead great grandma!!!! my specs : P4 2,8 Ghz, GeForce FX 5700 PRO, 516 RAM; No programs or other crap where running in the background at the time off playing; 6. Is it just me or do most Genesis voices sound a bit like a bad radio transmission? III. suggestion list(get ready this is gonna be long): *before I start posting jibberish own ideas please remeber that I respect what you've done so far and I now it was extremely hard to accomplish wath u guys have; *keep in mind these are suggestions *i'd be honored if u use at least 1 idea, that would make me feel great for contributing to the king of YR mods; please do not discard these as it took my alot to think, write and it is for the benefit of the mod(at least that's what I think) 1. Remove/destroy/kill/take out/eradicate/etc. the maintanance cost for buildings it's a major flaw IMO; It is a good idea but it works better in TBS; here's why: resource gathering is slow, costly and u need all the cash u can get out there; besides, vinifera get's extinct very fast just like in ra2 and u can't depend solely on the small patches being spawned once a minute; and u can't depend on the genesis sea vinifera extractor/nemesis vinifera storage bcuz there might not be water on the map/the building might not be present on the map; Instead you could add one building that spawns cash like 1000-2000/minute just like the ones in Generals; 2. Dunno how it works but, there are different tracks in-game depending on the side selected and the map selected I think; Can you make it so we can select all the tracks including the ones from RA2 and YR, no matter which choice we make? 3. Add an MCV to Nemesis too; 4. Enable the Sappers to capture allied buildings this will give huge tactical advantage in multiplayer games to allied players; 5. Make the aura transmittors sale-able and repairable; 6. Add an engineer-type of unit for Genesis so they can capture tech too, cuz I myself like to capture tech alot; More balanced if both can capture tech; 7. Make Nemesis buildings repairable to balance Genesis getting an engineer; 8. Make the D3 Solenoids/Turret Placements capturable either by engineers or technicians; 9. Add an AA defense building for Nemesis; 10. The Gryphon and Raven can land if the owner presses "D"; This is an excellent idea; But to make them take off u have to press "D" again then select the destination If you can make it so we don't have to press "D" again to take off, just select the destination; 11. A Sapper is a unit wich places explosives not repairs/captures buildings; Either you add a plasma C4 designed to target enemy vehicles and insta-kill them(besides the nemesis armaggedon) and a handgun designed for infantry to make him at least able to defend himself or you change his name; Also raise his cost if u ad a plasma C4+handgun; like 500 c instead of 200 c; 12. The Genesis engineer should be called "Zealot" or "Messenger", and besides capturing/reparing buildings he should be able to heal own/allied infantry units, also add a plasma pistol for infantry/vehicles; 13. The Nemesis AA turret should be called Vinifera Skysweaper and fire similar to the soviet flak cannon but using green flak clouds; 14. The Nemesis are somewhat limited in superweapons and the armageddon mammoth doesn't cover all that well; So either u increase it's build limit once or add another superweapon; my idea: Vinifera Proximity Charge: a big invisible vinifera bomb placeable on both land and water, it blows up violently on a slightly bigger range than the Vinifera Missile so that it get's more units; a ptarmigan flyes by really fast and drops the charge so as it doesn't get spotted by the enemy; now most of u ppl will be tempted to throw it in the middle of the enemy base; that's why it is destroyable in the air and it explodes very slightly causing virtually no damage if shot down; also it should be 12 seconds before u can use it to prevent from flooding the map with these charges; 15. In the skirmish/multiplayer screen there's the option to disable super weapons; It doesn't work right, it only disables the vinifera missile and the lumiere; it should also disable the insertion and bomb run, armagedon mammoth and vinifera proximity charge; Or you could make a button for every superweapon to make it more challenging; 16. Does the Iceblink shoot in the air? If not it really should; 17. Genesis should get a Hero Infantry Unit, but just them not the Nemesis so that it will balance the game more; I trust he's gonna have a cool name too; he should be able to swim also; 18. Nemesis should be able to build normal walls that look like the ones linking Watch Towers; The should be repairable and saleable; 19. The Vinageum should not make things more expensive I find that a very bad idea 20. The Distal Genesium should look like half of a normal genesium, it should be on the structures tab and available only after you build a normal genesium; 21. The Metafovea should only be available after building an Euvisya and a Venagium; 22. The Aureole should only be available after building the Venagenium; 23. Insertion should insert 6 Seraphs and the Hero; 24. Make the Vinifera Missile more powerfull, but not enough to destroy the construction yard; 25. Terrain Scan should be 5 mins and 1 hex wider for balancing issues; 26. Below is a list of price's that should make the game more enjoyable in my opinion: *notice every price does not contain numbers in the last two spots, bcuz I hate prices like 1479 when it can be 1500 therefore looking more nicely and more balanced; Genesis: Schizogen - 2000 Genesium - 1000 Distal Genesium - 500 Clarifium - 1500 Mechanics Factory - 1500 Vision - 1500 Metafovea - 1500 Vinifera Extractor Venagenium - 2500 Aureole - 2500 Airbase - 2000 (rename it to Skyforce Base :) Aurabelt - 250 D3 Solenoid - 1500 Shiner - 300 (1 Genesium), 600 (2 Gs), 800 (3 Gs), 1200 (4 Gs) Cutilator - 500 (1 Genesium), 750 (2 Gs), 1125 (3 Gs), 1687 (4 Gs) ( Zealot - 400 (1 G), 700 (2 Gs), 1000 (3 Gs), 1500 (4 Gs) Seraph - 600 (1 G), 900 (2 Gs), 1350 (3 Gs), 2050 (4 Gs) Hero - 1000 (1 G), 1500 (2 Gs), 2700 (3 Gs), 3900 (4 Gs) Airshift - 1500 Gryphon - 1500 * The gryphon looks more like a fighter than a bomber so I suggest it skips weapons with the Raven bcuz the Raven definetly looks more like a bomber Raven - 2000 Reaper - 1000 Decimator - 500 Jackal - 600 Enforcer - 1000 Orchid - 1500 Leviathan - 2000 Nemesis: Protoplasm Construction Vehicle - 2000 Vinifera Incinerator - 500 Barracks - 500 Refinery - 1500 Sensorium - 2500 (rename it to Radarium ) Substation - 1500 (rename it to Vehicle Factory ) Dock - 1500 Tech Center - 2500 (rename it to Battlefield Operations ) Wall - 100 Turret Placement - 500 Vinifera Skysweaper - 500 Vinifera Missile Launchpad - 2500 (rename it to Launchsilo ) Proximity Charge Relay Station - 2500 (like the name? ) Watch Tower - 1500 Miner - 1000 Quad - 700 Rejuvenator - 800 Sentinel - 600 (might wanna make him a lil' bit faster) Apocalypse - 1200 (rename it to Contaminator, more original IMO ) Catastrophe - 1500 (cuz we all know the catastrophe is better than the Apocalypse) Phlogiston - 2000 (how does Barager Battle Tank sound? ) Armageddon - 3000 (how about Behemoth? :) Conscript - 150 (1 G), 200 (2 Gs), 400 (3 Gs), 550 (4 Gs); (how about Militia ? ) Sapper - 400 (1 G), 600 (2 Gs), 1000 (3 Gs), 1400 (4 Gs) Firestorm - 450 (1 G), 700 (2 Gs), 1100 (3 Gs), 1500 (4 Gs) (how does Impacteer sound ? ) Sclerite - 1200 (1 G), 1700 (2 Gs), 2000 (3 Gs), 2300 (4 Gs) Technician - 500 (1 G), 700 (2 Gs), 900 (3 Gs), 1300 (4 Gs) Ptarmigan - 1700 * Notice the Infantry has prices for up to 4 genesiums bcuz having 5 genesiums already exceeds the normal price you'd pay for the each unit separetely (u know what I mean) I think that's all of them...... 27. The MCVs should not requier tech centers, so that when capturing just a war factory u can build and enemy mcv and get out of there........ 28. Make an original Genesis voice I can't stand TS EVA; I could send you a recording of my voice; 29. Changing the Nemesis AI voice with Cabal or the Ordos Mentat would be cool; 30. This is the last one, and it's way off; Could you consider adding GDI, NOD, The Forsaken, The Allies (one faction with all the special units), The Soviets(dido) and Yuri? I hope I didn't bore you all, and you have to agree that at least 10 of my suggestions are great; (P.S. I'd kill for all of them in the new version!! One can dream, no? ;)

  13. Pretty dumbass for a first post but what the hell........ I installed RA2, then YR then the 1001 patch; no mods on it no rules.ini files no nuthin' clean RA2 YR game installed in "D:\C&C 4 Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge\" I got the mod, unzipped the xcc launcher in the game folder, accesed the launcher! I see 3 buttons nicely outlined like this: AR2 Site AR2 Mod AR2 Manual I figured I'd read the manual first so I pressed the "AR2 Manual" button! After getting some unit info from it I close it. Then I figure "Hey, lemme try this kickass mod!" So I press the "AR2 Mod" button AS u can plainly read everything is correct up till now and no I have not installed any mod prior to AR2. And finaly the error *drums and trumpets in the background* "ERROR FINDING GAME" ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? help............
