The tactic is to build your small base near/between the civilian buildings (Paris map), this way you can protect them and have a steady income. You start building the light tanks immediately and let them guard your base (means also that as soon as enemy units attack you select your tanks and let them all kill one target). The AI will go search for you almost immediately. So you this way you get your first kills. Keep building more tanks. Loads of tanks. So you can withstand the attacks of AI. As soon as you can build better buildings, you start producing better tanks so you can defend your base more easily... Anyway.. that's the way I did it.

Then you should check this thread once in a while. The same error message will be analyzed there.

When your PC hangs/crashes during playing Blitzkrieg II Mod, the mod will be damaged. SO you will have to reinstall the whole thing again.

And number 1 here :P

This really requires a complete different tactic. So you won't be able to kill large tanks with HUGE amounts of light tanks. Pretty strong concept! :P *thumbs up*

the first couple of times I did too, but then I started builing my base more between the houses and captured them. While builing more units I protected the houses, so I had a steady income.

I managed to learn from two failed attempts how to handle this game (read:mod). It's fun! :) Btw sometimes, right before a light axis tank dies it turns into a chinese battletank for half a sec (only saw it once), but I know you are aware of the 'bug' :) Though the Maus is pretty strong, I think that the Panzer tanks (with upgrade) wil be the most popular. They are fast enough and inflict enough dam. I played the Axis now, next time I will try the other sides :) Below I attached a little showroom of the Axis tanks. Put them this way just for fun :P

I play the game on High Graphics settings and on 1600x1200. The textures aren't really high-res, though, but I don't think it 'sucks'.

So you deleted the the mod completely and made the AI in the mod work again? :)

I give myself a Brutal Army as opponent, build a barracks, power plant, light factory and build a biker. As soon as he comes out of the factory I order him to go straight to the enemy encampment. When he arrives there the few guys out there are only picking their noses.

I'm not suitable for playing online, PvP, so I'm waiting 'till AI kicks in. But next to the things that need to be polished I do like it so far, although I'm not impressed (yet) :)

Fighting against his stupidity will only trigger his 'intelligence' (if any exists) :)
