    As I Thought, Ea Console

I seriously don't see everything being streamed, services like steam are great. But so much has to be done client side in terms of processing that I don't see any real benefit, aside from distribution costs.
  4. Seems more likely to provoke them to me, and this seems like an excuse to keep the Palestinian population under control, it is the normal people who will be most affected by this.

    Favourite Beverage

Haha, I hope this isn't against the rule's, because the rules page is broken and apparently there are none... Non-alcoholic - Mountain dew Fanta orange Coca-Cola. Alcoholic - Bottle of Smirnoff Triple distilled - mixed with anything or straight shots (prefereably some sort of tropical juice). Smirnoff ice double black (usually drink them when im out, also very popular at the club where I work). Stella Artois - most refreshing beer ever. What about you guys? (funny party/drinking stories also welcome) :D

    Who The Hell Are You?

Haha that wasn't me, im in the middle and thats not my hand =P I usually drink Smirnoff Triple Distilled pure vodka at home , whatever I feel like when im out - check the favourite beverages thread =) (I've got 5 bottles of the stuff behind my monitor lol, although 3 are almost empty)
  9. Looks like the UK government is pledging support for a US war again. And yet again it looks like the UK + US will be going to "war" unprovoked - sounds more like an invasion to me, so much for "freedom". When do we actually get a say in what our governments are doing, no democracy here. Iran is considered a threat now because of what their president says and the fact that they want nucleur power - note the president has no real power in Iran, the military is controlled by the defense minister and the prime minister runs most of the country. News Article No doubt it won't be long before Howard pledges Australia's support too. Im getting pretty sick of these wars for "peace" (where's the logic in fighting for 'peace'?) invasions by the "coalition". How many of us actually support these wars, yet they never learn and fight it in our name anyway. As if we weren't wasting enough time/money/manpower on them already. This bit is stupid: Uh... clears the way for a British counter-terrorist strike how? Britain are dragged into it now. The only major terrorist events against western countries by Iran I can think of are the Iranian embassy hostage situation - in which the people responsible released a hostage because he was ill, and asked him to apologise on their behalf, no hostages were killed, the other being the kidknapping of US students, which granted was pretty bad. - The truth comes out, more oil!

The Biggest Drink Of All Time

Haha. I read that this morning, it's awesome. You would think a hospital would be better equiped though =P.
  11. Are we talking about the website? You guys have me lost now... Edit: I was posting a reply to a post on the previous page, looks like I didn't page attention to page numbers.
  12. The story was a little more complex then that, but they didn't hurt anyone, that's the point. They could be labeled as terrorists, but the point is that label is used all to openly these days, and used as an excuse to reign terror on others, it's all a bit confused. The world is just governments insulting and playing games with each other.
  13. Haha I got the link from Digg, the was another to the telegraph here but yeah. Probably both a little bit unreliable ;)

    Who The Hell Are You?

Ah, wondered who the new person was in my friend requests =P And no actually haha, everyone thinks that, never went that dark when I lived in the UK I think it's my hair recovering in winter from the Australian summer haha . My hair was just wet and had gel in it (I think :P), yeah I love it when it goes like that =)

mmm. It's rare to get it straight from the barrel here. EDIT: At the vodka again, although it isn't my fault it helps me program better when Im relaxed, and a friend of mine is on msn saying that he's drinking, since Im too busy to go to his, I thought why not join in!  *talking to himself: yeah, that's a good excuse. You're alright :P* Oh, and another awesome drink, ice breaker. Do we only have them in Australia? they are awesome when you need a nice refreshing drink and need to stay alert, especially when studying.

    Korean War Ends

It's good to see a possible peaceful resolution to a conflict, I don't remember one yet in my lifetime, which doesn't make me feel good or optimistic for the future.
  23. Nobody said they would have migrated after the war, Although with the state of affairs in the nothern hemisphere, and the rich resources in Australia, it might be a consideration for many hoping to flee the standoff in the north. Who says it had to be 100% realistic anyway? with a massive migration it could be possible, welcoming refugee's, NATO troops and their families etc. As for the forseeable future, in the story, Australia pumps huge amounts of money into the military just after the war. And the only nearby places for enemies would be Papa New Guinea (a few thousand k's and the torres straight islands, which could not support a large military force), on the distance from any allies thing, you are right there, but im sure the allies would put a lot of interest into helping migrating civilians get away from the danger zones, and with them probably establish a military on the Australiasian continent because it is perfect to strike from (at least with long-range ballistics and aircraft, America regularly sends aircraft carriers here -- 24 January, 2006 - USS Ronald Reagan, 20 July 2007 - USS Kitty Hawk -- them things were huge!), so it is remotely possible ^_^ . Either way, this mod is gonna be fun to play :P It's definatly gonna be different and more fun then the typical US/China setup :D
  24. Haha, Pretty funny really, but when you see this place you can imagine it happening (sorta). But yeah, thing is, if events like that did happen, there would probably be a mass-migration to safer more welcoming countries like Australia anyway, especially the English speaking population. In my area I'd say at least 25% of the people are British migrants (myself included). People to fill the country? you come from the biggest land mass in the world, I'd say we're both alright this way :P. But yeah, that's why it's so damn easy to get in here, all you need are qualifications.
