Is This Doable?

I just want to know if this is doable or not, instead of a delta operative for the hero unit, why not make a MOUT team as the hero. 4 guys, Team leader, M-4 Rifle, Automatic Rifleman (machine gun) with an M-249, Grenadier with M-4/203, and a Rifleman. If you wondering, yes, its a knockoff of Full Spectrum Warrior. The team would be like the angry mob in theory

I don't like that idea. I think you should keep the delta operative and make it a power. 5 SEPERATE Delta Operatives could be flown in with a reload timer of 2mins.

Nice, but there your basic infantry is Marines. Why have a bunch of army guys come in? (remember the FSW guys were reg. Army)

I like the idea of the operatives getting flown in, like on a blackhawk or a little bird. I personally think there should be more interesting and varied types of infantry to fit more roles, and there shouldn't be heroes.

Like add in snipers that may not kill in one shot but you don't need the generals power, infantry that excel at anti-aircraft, and rocket guys can't take potshots at tanks. It gets depressing when your F-15 returning home gets nailed by an RPG. Especially since in real life they fly at thousands of feet up.

Like I said on another forum a good selection would be:

 

Marine

AT Marine

Ranger (simalar but better then marine (maybe an assult rifle and AT4)

Delta Operatives ( 5-10 Flown in)

 

Also I think all US soldiers should be able to rapple.

I think the U.S. Infantry Line-up should be like this:

 

1.Marine

2.AT-4 Marine

3.Stinger Marine

4.Field Officer

5.Sniper

6.Ranger (Delta Operative)

 

the Field officer is similar to the Marine but they should cost about 700 credits and they have the same ability that the propoganda tower has. Also the laser idea that avengers have in the vanilla generals should be placed on the field officer so as to direct troops were to concentrate their fire.

 

Another thing is I COMPLETELY agree with Blackhawk about ALL US Infantry being able to rappel out of helicopters. All soldiers are taught how to go down a rope. Just that the speaclialists should be able to do it faster. i dont, however, like the idea of the speacialists being flown in. Stupid cause then people would amass an amry of a thousand heros. better to build them at barracks but have a buildlimit to 20 on them.
