wuyanxu 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 if i were you, i won't buy it. it's overpriced, and the technology you've bought won't come in use until next year, which the card's price will at least drop by 75%.
-supremecars- 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 What you buy now is tommorow old. Â The newest computer is just over one day old because everything is changing that quick. Â Maybe Microsoft is working on a new version windows, maybe Pista, who knows? who said that Vista is a new version maybe there is allready a newer one. Â Who knows if there issnt a pentium 8 out allready? Â Who knows :P.
Sc4Freak 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Most technology companies do have ready products that won't be released for years to come. ATI has had R600 in the works since the days of the X800 series, and Intel the Core 2 Duo ever since the Pentium-M came out.
wuyanxu 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 what i am saying is that spending moeny now and buying a card which has half of its powers locked is not wise

IconOfEvi 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 ATI I suppose will now...they're merged with AMD now after all :P...I was gonna hate them for their abysmal Linux support but since its way improved since the AMD takeover, Im willing to goto AMD again.
