Korona 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 For anyone with this problem, here is a temporary 2-part solution. 2.6 to 2.6.20 do this one first 2.6.20 to 2.6.21 then this one The actual solution is allegedly being worked on, so hopefully that will be out soon. Reginon 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2007 Well, but I'd like to report that, as for example happened to me: I reinstalled the whole thing, re-patched from 2.6 to 2.6.20 then did 2.6.20 to 2.6.21 and DID NOT work, it gives the usual error in the end that most people account for... BUT I am able to play online with people who successfully patched AND with people that received the same error message I did. So, for those who have trouble patching, you are seemingly able to play online still. I did, and there are a couple of friends who did as well. With splfoh one or two maps mismatched, but then we were able to play. tig3r_hun, baset1m and ILikePie had received the error message as well, but we were able to play on ANY map and all went smoothly playing against Akaranza who succesfully installed the patches. Weird but true. Of course my error wasnt, as mentioned, the serious one ("old file does not exist"), when I try to install the latest patch, at 99% says "impossible to install blablabla".
