Sasquatch 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 Canadian company proposes tazer bracelets as a precaution on airlines. So, Lemme get this straight. A flight attendant could theoretically zap anyone he/she pleases. Wow. So, I have three things to say to that. -What happens if the flight attendant is an unscrupulous character a la Al Quaeda? -Having a tazer on every passenger's wrist=bad idea? -Hitting on the flight attendant now incredibly dangerous? Count von Phoib 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 I would refuse to wear such a system.

Feuersturm 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 I'd rather drive instead of wearing that.
Rattuskid 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 It's so unsanitary to boot. I mean, they're electrical devices so the most you can do is use rubbing alcohol and a bit of dust off, and you want countless numbers of people to wear them on their grimmy wrists? Ew. Also, what can this system provide that simply giving the flight attendant an honest-to-fuck tazer can't?
Sasquatch 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 The only thing I can think of is a really, really nervous crowd of passengers. So, what happens if someone learns how to hack them and set them off without the original control?
PsiSoldier28 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 So, what happens if someone learns how to hack them and set them off without the original control? I assume, alot of involuntary urination.
Sasquatch 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 So, Tazer bracelets and urine pots for everyone? Sounds like one really, really screwed up possibility.

Rattuskid 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 Also, since they're based off closing a circuit, couldn't a terrorist use his to rush the pilot? affecting him in the shock? If anyone on the plane would have the ability to withstand an electrical shock, you'd think it'd be an oft-tortured, hardened killer. Especially if they were on those monkeybars... Everyone fears the guys with balaclavas on monkeybars!
