nukeboy_91 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2004 where can i find what card i use
Ghost Wolf 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2004 nukeboy, what you are seeing is the same thing I saw when I first tried playing Generals on my crappy old geforce2 card. It was only 64MB and all the textures were rendered black (usually), but sometimes flickered normal for a moment or went white. So it sounds like the RAM on your video card is definitely bad. I would stop mucking about with software and get a new vid card. good luck!
FECrtn2 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2004 where can i find what card i use Go to run. Than type 'dxdiag'. Go to Graphics 1. Itll be stated on the top left hand side.

My vid card and RAM is good, because everything worked for over an year, and 2 weeks or some ago this problem started And is NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 a vidcard? Ghost Wolf 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2004 Hrrmmm...... I'm still thinking the card went bad. Either that or something disabled your AGP. Try running dxdiag and seeing if AGP is enabled.
nukeboy_91 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2004 i tested everything like directx and directdraw and stuuf, everything worked correct, and i couldn't find anything about AGP
Biohazard 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2004 The GeForce 2 is just an old tired card dude... I've got a geforce 3 and even it struggles.
nukeboy_91 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 Its still strange that it worked with the SAME card........
Biohazard 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 it's *old* dude - electronics aren't built like cars. Video cards can only heat up and cool down so many times before the circuitry cracks, corrodes, and generally craps out.
