The only problem i have with tanks is THROW AWAY THE EVIL LIGHT TANKS!!!! They are useless other than bait for the bazookers and blowing up trucks. One hit from a panzer is all it takes and KABOOM! Other than that idk if you add anymore tanks or not. Although i wish there were some form of Halftrack transport. wink.gif

Are you failing to upgrade those light tanks lil buddy? One of my fav units in the game is the Hetzer which is a light tank upgraded and personally i think they rokk.

you know ive actually forgotten and never really use the hetzers anymore although i do remeber how good they are for quick strikes. I only use upgraded panzers and King tigers and such nowadays. wink.gif

hmm...Airstrikes take out Upgraded panzers and Tigers actualy quite easily...( Not Stuka Strike ) i am too much of a n00b to live long enough to get Tigers! ( As Dr.Shrinker Knows now! ), so i mainly use light tanks... which actualy if used Effectively with flanking tactics are extremely effective, but only if there spread out , surrounded the enemy and the enemy are extremewly outnumbered! laugh.gif

I used to use the Hetzer but it was downgraded a bit in the latest patch. I used to be the only thing that would stop the russians and american spamed tanks. The Hetzers should get a flame ability I have read around that there armor was almost 7 inchs(correct me if I am wrong please) and I think its not the same ingame. Doesn't sloped armor give you a advantage or something?

The Hetzer was a very effective weapon and offered excellent "bang for the buck".
It's frontal armour was 60mm, but due to the incredible slope of 60°, it turns into an equivalent of 120mm....

with all this technology that was being developed, its a wonder of how the war only lasted 6 years, if it wasn't for poor german leadership, the war could have gone on for almost a decade.

It would be cool to see a tank that could go invis for a shor period to "ambush" enemy tanks... like 15-30 secs of invis time or aomething... any thoughts on this?

i dunt think that they had nod stealth tanks back then. tongue.gif Youd have to have some serious cover to pull that off in real life those big things are kindof hard to just "ambush" something all of a sudden.

tanks can be concealed so well that you might not even see it until you see a muzzle flash and then die(expecially in ww2.) You can entrench them, put bushes and branches from surrounding areas on them and hide them in some trees.... all kinds of ways to hide them.

Hezters on many (can't even count them its been so many) occasions have helped me to turn the tide of a battle. When a game is not fairing so well and im low on cash you can count on seeing lots of hezters slowing your advance down quite a bit. Since they are so cheap they only need a kill ratio of 2:1 to pay for itesself with a little profit if you are fighting tanks. They are cheap , build and move quickly across the field and most of all they have enough firepower to save you the 200$ and build them instead of panzers. Hetzers are a versitile and deadly foe in blitz2...
