Yes would give players time to: A - move units out of the way, B - construct hasty defenses if it's a large enough map, and C - give them an opporitunity to scramble fighters to intercept.

Um, would be Ok prehaps, if the Bombers flew "above" radar and you didnt know exactly where the run was going. As it is right now all you have to do is look at the mini map and follow the line of direction the bombers are going. I have sent many a bombing run to a packed enemy base only to get there and all the buildings be sold

The refineries of Ploesti didnt miraculously sink into the ground then reappear after that raid. I'd have no real problem with the idea of the global siren if the bombers flew "above" radar.

That would help AI issues too, where the AI screws itself by selling the buildings it really needs

Good points of view! Realistics aspects are often the best! Add siren if you take away the ability to sell buidings, otherwise no!

I agree. Taking away things like selling buildings would greatly improve the mod. It would make you think before you build that fifth heavy factory. Are you really gonna need it?

Another idea might be to make it take a VERY long time to sell it. Longer than it would take a bomber to get from one side of the map to the other.
But i also think small buildings like the barracks should still be sell-able. After all, you can train men anywhere. Maybe the Command Center as well. Command often had to move at a moments notice. I have had to reteat before and rebuild close to an ally.
