I remember PcTeen/evilviking saying that North Korea will use alot of Chinese tech, possibly the J-10 fighter they have. Which IMO is an excellent selection of units. The SU-30 would probably feel to simular to Iraq's SU-37, the MiG 1.44 I'm pretty sure people had enough of it in vanilla generals, and the Su-27 also falls along the same lines as the Su-30..

I mean if we are to use real life NK it would be mig21 and mig29

Maybe a slightly improved MiG-29s as their best fighters. MiG-21-93s(modrenized Mig-21)as light fighters and SU-25s(Frogfoots, I think?) as ground attack fighters

Well, doesn't it have to be pretty futuristic? I mean, Iraq makes a comeback, from crappy army in 2005 to one of the best in 2008. So Korea should be be somewhat more advanced than Iraq.

Umm... wrong. You missed one of the most important parts of the AAOW storyline:

The Second Gulf War never happened.



Iraq had about 18 years to rebuild, with a lot of outside help.

I dont think it would be "crappy". I would say it would have decent tech (T-72's, MiG-29's, etc) but huge numbers.

Ok, from 1990 to 2008. Thats still pretty good from going to crap to being able to rival America in Military strength head on. And Korea is alot farther ahead of them. So Korea should be a tad bi more advanced.

P.S. The Soviets weren't in the right condition to help anybody back then.

meh, North Korea uses chinese tech or simliar too that and iraqi's use soviet technology, in this mod the technology the soviets were to poor to afford but the iraqi black gold was enough to get it
