So, Pestilence, what Aircraft Carrier you stationed on? You still on one? :P I remember seeing you were, but I'm not sure now. =\ I did Deplowments on the USS Carl Vison and the USS Nimitz, as well as training detachments on the USS Lincoln and the Uss John C. Stennis. During the era of the F-14 The only thing it had going for it as a fighter was its speed. Unfortunatly tho while at full military thrust, the F-14's turn rate is rather low at 14 degrees per second. The F-18 even the F-18A on the other hand has a much hiher thrust to weight ratio and a higher turn rate of about 19 degrees ps at full military thrust. The F-18 was designed to be a better fighter than the F-14 despite the F-18 multirole designation. The F-18 is part of a navy wide plan to consolidate the # of types of aircraft they employ. The F-14 is already finished flying in active duty. The Tomcatters, which was the first Tomcat squadron to deploy was also the last to deploy and came back from the last deployment late last year. As for the the F-22, Im still skeptacle as to what to belive. I have heard #'s like a trun rate of 21 degrees, and 32 with use of thrust vectoring during full military thrust. But I doubt a pilot could handle either while at full military thrust. Turn rate is not the only spec to consider but it is one of the most important.

:D so funny, a lot of the stuff you say about the F-18 is all wrong.

He prolly just lost it in the mix of still loading progs onto his comp and sorting things out after that HD failure. Or maybe hes been grounded. Give him a little longer he'll eventually read this thread again and remember it.

How about Gunny Highway, from that movie that I can't remember the name to.

The .bmp file is th eonly one you need to draw on, the other are just your reference. We want the .bmp to look like the real statue, which you see in one of the .jpg images. try to make it look weathered and old but not to much. If you think you need it I'll label the template so you can recognize the different surface areas better.

Here ya go USA05, its a small statue, simple skin job to get accustomed to skin and texture drawing. 3 files, 1 is a .bmp that is your template to draw over(you'll prolly think of it but just incase, always leave the original layer untouched, use only for reference) And 2 .jpg for reference, one is the actual and the other is the model. If you have any question about what your looking at, don't hesitate to ask. thx for the help. Gold_Eagle.zip

You won't have to do any modeling, most of the modeling is already done, Ill create UVW templates for you to draw on and just return your finished work to me and Ill apply it. you can send to pestilence64@pestilence64.com

How experienced are you with Photoshop USAF05? If i give you a template do you think you can skin one of the Iraqi units if I give you some pics of the real think and a pic of another finished unit so you can match the skin to the whole basic look of our Iraqi units?
