  1. Yes it's highly doubtful anyone would mind, just thought I might point it out in case you were aiming for historical accuracy :D.
  2. I can find one problem with the skin right off the bat, "USAF"....... on the right wing. You guys have USAF in big bold black letters now if this was say 1947 or 1948 that would be a correct symbol, however it's not so the USAF didn't exsist as a seperate force until 1947 until that time it was known as the USAAC or US Army Air Corps, I'm trying to recall what symbol should be at that location so far as I know it was either a big USA or just US, though I could be mistaken. I can try and research it if you'd like. Other then that smal detail it looks rather good and I look forward to using it on the enemy.

    Possible Upgrade For Wirblewind

Yea the models look pretty sharp, though typically the Germans used either the 4 barrel 6 barrel or the 12 barrel Nebelwerfer*to my knowledge a 3 barrel configuration wasn't normal for rocket artillery units*, and the sturmtiger's range was somewhat short rocket assited though the shell may be the the cannon was a modifed DEPTH CHARGE launcher and historically they didn't have that long of a range*no need just range enough to clear the ship launched from*, if any range needs changing the 88 and 90 mm AA guns need it their ground attack range is severly shorter then should be even taking in to account balenecing the game, now in the improved air to air system do experienced pilots shoot down enemy aircraft faster?? I think that would be awsome becuase real life pilots learned the enemies planes weak spots, for example on the eastern front German pilots with experience would often tell new pilots where to aim to down russian aircraft one such case happend somtime in 42 as I recall where the German pilot in charge of the eastern front fighters overheard a pilot complaining about how hard it was to down sturmoviks upon hearing this the commanding pilot took him for a "training flight" and showed him that if you hit a IL-2 at a 30 degree angle from the side you could hit the fuel tank*which in the ealrier models at least was directly behind the cokpit area* one good burst and the IL-2 would burst in flames and go down, after downing the farthest back one in the formation the commander said"see it is easy now you try" the younger pilot did so and they proceeded to take out three or four IL-2s in this manner before returning to base a mere 12 minutes later,*note early model strumoviks had no rear gunner* any way it would be nice if the more experienced pilots could down enemy aircraft faster becuase they know the best way to do so.

    P-38 As First Fighter

I actually have a book on the HE-162 and proposed variants of it including some that have advanced wing configurations, my main complaint about blitz2's Lightning is that fact that it carries so little, I realise that if the aircraft were given realistic loadouts they would be over powering, but it still might be nice if they were a tad better, like for instance the P-47's rockets are not what you see used on most US aircraft, most rockets were either the "zunni" type or 5IN rockets which were mounted in racks of five typicaly one rack on each wing, they were also fairly straight flying rockets, the P-38 should also have rockets a typical loadout for a interdiction mission for a EOA Lightning would have been a lot heavier, the Lightning could carry up to 3,200lbs of ordinace of various types, a interesting idea would be to include the F-5 and recon spitfires to the game*for those who don't know the F-5 and F-6 are both recon variants of the P-38* as a generals abillity perhaps in association with a specific allied general???

    Give us your Lines!

No list that I know of though I do know they're looking for lines for P-51(belive P-38 aswell) and hummel lines would be apreciated.

    Ingame Aircraft.

Well if they include Japan and a pacific theater campaign I imagine they'll also include B-29 firebombing raids, which actually killed more then both the A bombs put together If i'm recalling correctly, the raids started literal firestorms that killed hundreds of thousands in various cities see most of the houses in Japan at that time were made of wood and paper*paper screens and doors to be precise* so one spark could easily set off a whole block the heat was so intense *supposedly* that it created its own weather creating super heated air vortices*kinda like tornados but with heat intense enough to burn you* also becuase of the size and strength of the fires it sucked in vast ammounts of oxygen and could literally suck a person into it if they were close enough, all in all nasty business.

Yep your correct should have caught those myself hehe thx for pointing it out.

    Give us your Lines!

I'll put up the english version of the lines first so my fellow forum members can read them I can use online translators to Deutsch if you need them in Deutsch*think I have that spelled correctly* okay for Maus heres my ideas Attacking: (1) "We will show theses fools the true might of the fatherland" (2) "JA mein kommandant we will destroy them" (3) "Another target for us??? excellent!!!!" Moving: (1)"We will move there..... eventually" (2) "Where does the Füher wish us to go??" (3) "JA JA we will go there after we have refuelled* Selecting: (1) "Pride of the army" (2) "What are your orders mein kommandant" (3) "Schwer Panzer reporting for duty" Taking Damage: (1) "This is a fools errand" (2) "JA were taking damage or did you miss seeing those shells fly by you???" (3) "We will defeat them its just going to take longer" Death: (1) "It would seem that either our armor is thin or their shells are better" (2) "We die for germany" (3) "Fight on for us your fallen Kameraden" translations: JA(yes), mein(my), kommandant(commander), schwerer Behälter(heavy tank), furher(leader), Kameraden(comrades) the hummell would take me bit to think of some good lines for it.

    Give us your Lines!

Oooh this is going to be fun, for the mustang i'd have lines like this Attacking: (1) "Achtung achtung!! I'm gonna nail every last one of you so look out" (2) "Oooh look somone wants to play*somewhat hysterical laughter*"(3) "Pretty tracers.... must fire... more rounds .....must watch tracers" Moving: (1) "Roger that control moving to intercept cordinates" (2) "So thats where they are..." (3) "Are you sure thats where you want me??" Selecting: (1) "Do you have a mission for me??" (2) "I got a pair....*scrambling noises like somone getting up in hurry* Yes sir???" (3) "I just waxed the plane so this better be important" Taking damage: (1) "Man this flak is thick" (2) "THEY SCRATCHED MY PLANE!!!" (3) "If you need me I'll be fixing the hole in my wing" Death: (1) "They got me those lousy jerks got me" (2) "I could use some help over here" (3) "Looks like my next plane is gonna be a wooden one" for the fortress I'd used something like these Attacking: (1) "This is your captain speaking we will now be eliminating all you see below the aircraft" (2) "Sorry it seems that you're on the target list today nice knowing you" (3) "Bombs away and good riddance" Moving: (1) "Lets get this crate moving" (2) "We may not win any air race but we're packing" (3) "Bomb truck driving to new location" Selecting: (1) "Do you have a mission for us sir??" (2) "Big N slow here what you need?" (3) "Awaiting target vectors control" Taking damage: (1) "Strap in fellows were taking hits" (2) "Holy cow you could walk on that flak" (3) "Number 1 is out and Number 3's loosing oil" Death: (1) "Bail out!! bail out !!" (2) "Looks like we won't be making 25 missions boys" (3) "Put on that chute before....." I could come up with a lot but I'd prefer a more specific requirment about what units really need the lines....

    Day At The Beach

If its only one of the A seris I'd probably agree with you, but if it was a Dora or a TA-152 I'd take them in a instant, they were the epitamy of the 190s capabillites, with enough power at alltitude to make them viable much higher then the earlier models, one of the problems with the A seris is its somewhat weak performance at high altitudes, this was rectified in the D seris and the later TA-152s *which fournately for the allies saw no real combat in numbers* in fact the D's were a stop-gap measure untill the TA-152 could be manufactured in numbers. Kurt Tank was a briliant designer no matter what else he may or may not have been, did you know that after WWII he and several of his senior staff went to argentia and built aircraft there including a jet fighter which had been originally planned for the Luftwaffe and was to carry Air to Air GUIDED missiles which operated similairly to todays TOW missiles.

    Turrets

Actually the Wermacht took it one step further, they took Panther tank turrets placed them over small underground concrete bunkers*which had bunks and a stove* and used them to defend "the fatherland" proper, I have a book on the Panther and its variants which has a section about these stationary turrets, they're called Panther Ostwallturms heres a allied report*from said book* from the Mediterranean theater "'Panther turrets were first met in the Hitler Line and were in fact the salient features around which other defences were built up. They are actual tank turrets, though perhaps of a slightly earlier vintage than those now on tanks. They are mounted on a turret ring fitted on a armoured box bulit up of welded plate about 2.5 inches thick. The whole of the box is sunk into the ground and earth is banked up close to the turret so that it is just cleared by the gun at depression and yet offers some addtional protection to the base of the tuuret skirt. Traverse is by hand only and no power is supplied. Acces to the turret is either by the access hatches of the turret itself or from underneath the armoured box by means of a steel ladder communicating with a deep dug-out. It is obvious that the crews live in the turret and dug-out permantely as electric light is supplied and there are other signs of continous occupation. 'This system of static defence was backed up by self propelled equipment and ordinary ground anti-tank guns. In front of each postion there was a graveyard of Churchills and some Shermans; perhaps eight tanks to a gun and all within 200 yards of it. This is, at present, the cost of reducing a Panther turret and it would seem to be an excellent investement for Hitler. Obviously these turrets are most formiable unless each one is dealt with by a carefully prepared and co-ordinated attack. 'The turrets are almost invinsible until they fire and, when located, there is very little to shoot at and, unless the turret happens to be pointing elsewhere, it will not be penetrated by 75mm or 6 Pounder guns. H.E fire is obviously useless. In all cases there was enough of the turret left to diganose the method of destruction, pentration of the turret side had been effected. 'One Churchill crew who destroyed one with their 6-Pounder say that the turret blew up immediately it was hit. This was presumeably due to ammunition, since a large quantity is stored. Certainly the sample in question appeared to have been reduced to its component parts and the gun barrel can still be seen sticking up in the air like a telegraph pole, some distance from the site. If anti-tank defense is to consist of these turrets in the future it cannot but emphasise the need for a proportion of tanks to carry a really effective armour pentrating weapon, though it is not by any means accepted that attack by tanks is the best or correct method of dealing with them" as you can clearly see the Germans figured a rather efective turret for anti tank duty, the report is from the book: Fighting Armor of WWII Panther Variants 1942-1945 by osprey military written by Hilary Doyle & Tom Jentz, I highly reccomend it for any WWII German tank enthusist.

Great Mod So Far... Suggestions :)

Out of curiosity is there any plans to equip artillery with more then one shell type* I realise that the KM-13s don't have shells so they would need something to balence* like high explosive, smoke rounds, or armor piercing shells, would be fun and accurate, the trickiest one would be the smoke rounds I'm sure but would be great to fire smoke which reduces LOS of any units in it*including yours*, another question/sugestion is reconnisance planes, which would be very useful as say a generals power, would be nice to get a glimpse of the enemy postion before you attack them.

Great Mod So Far... Suggestions :)

Personally I like the fact that artillery misses*so does my freind who is also somewhat of a WWII buff as am I* because it's acurate to the time period, think about it for a moment aiming a gun by changing how many degrees left and right at 500 yds will have less dramatic change becuase the shell travels less but at 1000 yds the same target bearings could be off by quite a bit because the shell travels longer on the bearings, that why at range a inexpeirenced crew could easily miss if they over corected for one or more factors that also why the tanks rarely miss becuase there close enough that the shell hits before the the bearings would be off, one thing I think would be useful for this total conversion would be the abillite to turn off the blood effects, it doesn't bug me personally but I have freinds who play the TC and like it a lot but the don't nessaciarly care for the blood effects, so a simple toggle in the options would greatly improve the target audience becuase while theres few things to object about while playing skirmish in Generals or Zero Hour *read moms letting kids who aren't teens play the game* having the blood would have certain parties ban playing with the TC on, I agree on the anit tank guns they should even have their own manufacturing plant called a armoury which would also have any infantry upgrades researched there, these would be like the 37mm , 50mm, and 75mm, anti tank guns and perhaps even machine guns which would require two infantry class *read vermacht, rifle, conscript* in order to use and snipers could kill the crew maning them meaning that if you had a effective anti tank and machine gun group setup in a town a couple snipers could conceivebly take care of them all, to balence this the remaining crewmen would report their under fire thereby robbing the snipers of the element of suprise this coupled with the fact that to effectively get around the warning would require a large group of snipers which if you do raise the price for them*something I think is wise they're afterall some of the most highly trained combat infantry you can field* would be hard pressed to make such a large group alone at least, anyway that just some of my thoughts
