does the fire actually show in the mod or is it just me? cause i don't see fire, but infantry do still burn like hell when they're attacked

ok i used to be quite active at the old blitz forums and loved blitz but then i couldn't find the site url back here and eventually just lost interest. anyway biohazard told me a few days ago that blitz had come out with a new version. in the download section isn't that the same version i had - erm - like 6 months ago? theres too many threads with too many pages to find the answer i think - so is the new version a beta that im unable to get? :'( edit: and why does the Ionix-Gaming mirror under the download section for blitz 1 go to a marina carpark mod lol

Yamato you said you got some from old blitz one, do you by any chance happen to have one called (i think) JungleFever? when i un-installed ra2/yr i clicked "delete all files" or whatever so i could get rid of any extra mod files. never even thought to make a copy of my maps. i had a fun blitz map in there though. just wondering if you still happen to have it

i, too, get the "victorious bug" however it only occurs when i play against more than one opponent. it doesn't matter which side i play as (or what they play as) or the map i play. i can play 1 on 1 all i want without any errors, but as soon as there is more than 2 players in the game i win :'( also my folder has been stripped of any unwanted mods and files, i had to delete the folder and re-install it before i could even play blitz.

Well, its nice to hear "not too long" from phil, instead of others, when others say it, it turns out that "one month" means "one year" but usually people don't know that <_<

ya, mig wouldn't let anyone put it up. bad memories he says i am anticipating 3.3 :D :D morethan i was for the latest version of blitz like 5 months ago :o aw well, i love'em both. Mig has done an awful lot though, anyone seen the new screen at the d-day site? very good looking...mig didn't like it though ;)

well, i WOULD play, i too am stuck without generals (stupid generals!) but i don't like your.....sick....jokes, so no deal! :)

i don't really hate the game, i just hate that nearly everyone left once it came out (not everybody, of course) and what really bothers me is how short blitz I was able to keep its glory....not long if you know what i mean. how long were they making blitz I? a couple years? and then they get two months of people trying to get it from all over, maybe another month and everyone has generals, with blitz II on the way. now with a lot of the team off making blitz II, blitz I update is moving at the pace of a snail....if that. i stick by my comments about generals :P

a lot of bad info from that. "everyone else has moved to big stupid generals mods" (may not be original quote :( ) "I would assume that Blitz1 is moving as slow as possible. " "I would be quite surprised if Blitz1 is released" "Boo to Generals, RA2 forever!" (my quote :D ) anyway this is taking a long time, ive been able to play blitz, get pretty good at it, get another game (Age of Empires, not new just never got it before) get used to it and start playing online (im slow at getting used to game, in case you think it wouldn't be too long) *resumes waiting patiently and remembers how much he hates generals ;) *

yes and no. no missions but you can play skirmishes, as well as on-line, what happens when you try skirmishes?
