I'm trying to learn Russian trough various ways, and one of my ways of improving my pronounciation is by listening, with text, to songs of tatu and then reading the russian out aloud after that.

(Yes, tatu, as my pronounciation was denounced terrible and unintelligable, so drastic efforts are needed to get it good :P )

However, this piece of song got me puzzled for almost an hour... even with translation next to it!

So, I got a bit curious, how many here would be able to write down, in Latin alhpabet (what we write here) what she is saying? She is saying two things repeated; the second one is quite easy, the first one is difficult untill she repeats it at the end of the fragment.

The original English title was "All the things she said", however, this is not the title of the Russian song, which makes it very hard to find the lyrics.

Good luck!

No, the English version isn't the translation, thats the frustrating part.

And my russian friend said my russian was unintelligable, so... :P

And it's to practice how you pronounce it, not to understand what they say...

AFAIK, that song is not a translation from 'all the thing she said'. like the song 'not gonna get us' the title in russian is 'nas ne da gonat'.. something like that...

Didn't I mention that already? ^_^

And nobody even guessed? Come one, or should I start pointing Russians to this thread to see if anyone can solve it? :D

Being part of a ethnic background means nothing when learning a language. Hell, I'm part Chinese & I know more Russian than Chinese.

Do svidanya, tovarichi!

Its really hard for me to learn japanese because I'm to dang lazy. Bytheway that song learning way is pretty good to learn pronounciation, and u might even pick up some words after a while ^^. Im korean but Im better at english than korean, (but that doesnt mean Im bad at korean!) 하하 한글을 영어보다는 쪼금 못하지 ..

Do svidanya means until next time or until we'll meet again. I haven't heard of Das Vidanya but then again the guy I was learning from just dissappeared so I don't know too much.
