That's been my experience also. No offense to anyone intended. This mod is the best for the CnC series that I've ever played, including Deezire's work for RA2. But, but, skirmish mode is very helpful if you're trying to learn how to play better, unless you want to spend a lot of time online. After wasting almost a year playing Everquest (a few years ago), I've become very careful about getting too immersed in online stuff of any kind. It's just too time consuming.
The only suggestion that I have for those who want to play Skirmish mode is to use a 3 person map and play two Brutal opponents (same team) at the same time. At least that will keep you occupied. ;)
