ironduke57 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) The worst part of getting older, no more gifts. :( I myself bought me a 2 TB Samsung F4 HDD, an SATA<>eSATA Adapter and a frontpanel with eSATAp, HD Audio, etc. for my Cubecase. I also won an external USB "graphics card" from EVGA (UV Plus+ 16) for which I have absolute no use for. Will try to sell it. But as we were basically snowed in for the last three weeks there was no personal contact to most of family so maybe I can add something to this list in some day´s. ironduke57 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) Till now? 10€ from an aunt, 50€ from someone I almost weekly have to help with his computers and three jersey´s from my mom. Tomorrow my godmother (yes the one with the playboys for christmas) and the day after her an cousin with his family is coming. Maybe I will get some more bucks from them. If I am lucky I will have enough then to by me an new core i5 rig. (NFS: The Run showed me that my C2D 8400 even with the 560TI starts to go long in the tooth now. Still with an added GF9500 only for PhysX it doesn´t always run fluid.) @Phoib Yeah it´s gone really silent here. I am still coming here more or less regulary to check if there is something new and I have still hope when (if?) Blitz3 will be released we maybe get some new people here again. Atleast till the new Generals comes out which again could bring a new push for the CNC community or if it is like CNC4 it could be the death of all CNC related things for a century. (If DS would be closed it would leave a hole which would be hard to fill, we had some really good times here.)
