  1. Sorry that I wrote that it was stationed in Gibraltar. I ment stations somwhere around around there for the attac on Gibraltar. Sorry was my mistake.
  2. @flyby The Dicker MAx has been constructed as a trankhunter. That's why he was open to the top. Even if the project was canceled in the spring 1941 the tank was very succesfull at the eastern front. There were only two prototypes produced of them. Which were first stationed on Gibraltar with the 521. Panzerjäger Division. After that they were used with the 3. Tankdivision at the eastern front where as I have allready said very succesfull. The tank was able to smash a 132mm armour at a distance of about 2000 m. The tank was planed to be produced with the 12.8 cm gun. which would have made it even stronger as I just suggest at this moment. @ Logan unfortunately it is not UVWed. It is jus tthe model without any textures or anything else.
  3. Do you think everyone could switch to XFire? From my point of view it is better than MSN or any other Chatprogramm. I suggest everyone knows XFire if this isn ot the case, then you are able to look at it here to download and to gather some information

    As I understand your post you mean that Generals options to chooce between these bomings etc. I think it is more fun if the units which will be able to shoot such a kind of bullets would be producable instead of a countdown to use the option of bombardment, etc. But that is difficult as I can imagine because of the different units which have to be produced and at first place have to modeled.
  7. I just wrote an E-Mail to her. But I don't think I will get an answer withing the next four or five days. I am looking forward for her answer. But somehow I allready know that I will be a bit disapointed. But We will see what the time brings to us. :)

    Just to get it a bit more clearly for me to understand. A Bolt action rifle is a normal rifle, as I would say we here in Germany. If it is as it is, I am sorry about my wrong answer.

    There you are right. If you see the italian landscape as a stratetic position and another barricade for the allies. That is true. I never knew that there ware some divisions that were equivalent to the germans. The only things I have always red weren't that positiv about the italian divisions. Additional the Italian landscape is land with many hills and several very important stratetic positions. Monte Casino for example. That was just a position which comes first in my mind it I think of Italy. Also the thin middle of Italy is a very well position to defend, because it is not very wide.

    The P-1000 just cam in my mind. As a possible unit. But I am all right with it if it will not be added. The German light AA would be a very good Idea. I would apriciate it very much. It would bring even more realism to the game. If you focus this statment on units.

    Favourite Bolt Action Rifle?

    @ Logan We are currently talking about two different rifles. The Rifle which you mean is the Springfield M1903. The standart bolt action rifle for the US soldiers from 1903 onwards. I mean the Springfield M1903A4 based on the M1 Garand which was developed in the years 1940 onwards. Later this rifle was named M1E7 (later M1C) and M1E8. If you just look at the name Springfield you can always see tree different meanings in it. 1. Springfield (Massachusetts), which is the produver of the weapons 2. Springfield M1903, the bolt action rifle from the years 1903 ... 3. Springfield M1903A4 hte Sniper rifle during the Second World War

    2.6 News Post

    I also got a little problem with version 2.6 don't know if I do something wrong or if I am just to dump for it, because i am on holiday. :) After I have finished the Axis first mission I get the summary of my battle and I only got the choice between Exit and Back to MAin Menue. It doesn't matter which button I cklick I always get back to the main menue. As I have read there should be some more missions for the germans etc. But somehow I can't play them. Did I set something wrong? I have allready checked all the files and everything. Btw. I am using Modtoaster.
  14. I could perhaps get some better information about what the modding community has to expect with the new CnC because I know somebody who works for EA. But it could take some time I will get the information for you. And I am not sure if the the person will give them to me. But at least I can give it a try. I personally think that there will be another CnC after the CnC Tiberium Wars. And until this will be released this mod will have gained gold status. For this subject i am very optimistic. But at first we have to wait what the new CnC will offer us in programming and modding.
  15. In my last post I ment with invisible that the bullet actual isn't there. even if if will be calculated. So the programm will be given a counter of time or of "bullets" (Integer) which he has to count down. Every shot the unit makes, the programm animates the gun which is fireing and the impact somewhere. Which means the bullet needn't be rendert anymore and the programm wouldn't perhaps get the error, because it is made by the projectiles fired of the MG. The fifth bullet which would be a light traced bullet was just an idea to make the bullet be visible to the user or player. It isn'T really nessesary. It was just an imagination. there you are right. It doesn't effect the gameplay. It is just more a piece a realistic environement. IF you look at the AA-Gung e.g. The also have used light traces bullets to see where they shoot. This makes the shot more accurate. In a game it is more a way to play with the optics, but it is a nice idea from my point of view.
