http://www.cncden.com/kwmaps_featured.shtml "This map pack contains 17 maps that were originally made for C&C3 that were converted to play with Kane's Wrath. Among the original map authors are JBV3737, DaRkAlEx, wsted439, ZDFlamer2, v1rtu, ThermalFusion, hawk10314, |HEL| pwdkd, Arcanastras, Jey Bee, and RedBasti. Also included in the map pack is five 'pre-order' bonus maps for Kane's Wrath. That's a total of 22 excellent maps for you to enjoy playing!" I released this map pack for people who want to see some great, known custom C&C3 maps and play them all in KW! Enjoy!

Here's an interesting CNC3 mod I've found... http://www.ra-revolution.com/index.php?site=news Basically a RA2.5 mod for CNC3. :P It's looking pretty neat, honestly. The moddb site contradicts the website, saying there will be a new story, taking place after RA2YR... http://mods.moddb.com/9044/cc-red-alert-revolution/

And it's really nice but I suggest we first try coding a way to extract the sound (ingame audio, ambience and music). I mean, we're taking care of this stuff that's way deep in terms of decoding, but what about music? That shouldn't be too hard. KMX has been absent for quite a bit (probably busy with life stuff), so someone should take over his work or even try doing it from scratch. He said it's not that complicated, apparently. And I'm just too damn sick of waiting more to get the C&C3 music.

The Audio Files Appear To Be A Variant Of Mp3

Well, any progress, kmx? -
Well, we still need to be able to read the code and the sounds/music. That's all there really is left. And then we need to make sure it's possible to mod it and repack it into a BIG without using any sort of compression. I estimate we are 65 to 75 percent done...Just a little more, guys!

Hello, I've done the following without any success on opening the textures: - Extracted the bin, relo and manifest files out of the BIG files. - Opened the manifest file and extracted all the streams out of the section called "textures" I tried opening them in photoshop with the Nvidia DDS plugin installed. It didn't work at all... EDIT: Nevermind, it works. I forgot to install the DDS plugin in my Vista partition.

Aaahh, so that's why. I've always wondered why they were blurry ingame! :D

plain greyscale textures? Maybe for the bloom light effects?
-
That's what I was thinking, too... Probably that the Best Buy bonus map includes a Best Buy building on it...
-
Good to know BEST BUYS still exist in 2047. :D Anyways, mind uploading the textures for these following units' cameos: - GDI riflemen - GDI rocket troops - GDI grenadier - Nod riflemen - Nod rocket troops And also, could you upload those infantry units' textures here?

YAY! It shouldn't be hard now, since it's already known! :) Be sure to post whenever you find a way to crack it! :D Looks like SupCom still has the hardest to extract OST...
