Installation Troubles R2.6.15

When i want to install, it starts installing to c:\program files\... and that's not where i have generals or zero hour installed. needless to say, it fails(due to lack of HD space). the installer NEVER asks for installation dir and i don't know where it reads the install path from but it's reading it incorrectly. any ideas? (i have .net 2.0, generals, ZH and 1.04 working)
