An Opportunity To Possibly Stop Uwe Boll...

This has already been posted above in an article, but below is the actual video of him making those comments. He addresses the people signing the petition. To his credit, I did laugh. But it was incredibly ironic. It's ironic and amusing that he seems to really think his work is, and I quote "genius". Apparently, if we REALLY look at his movies, we'll see his true genius. "I'm the only genius left in the whole fucking business" I've seen House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, and BloodRayne. Granted, I haven't by any means studied the films searching for deep, underlying messages, I still feel safe saying there's absolutely nothing genius about any of those movies. Eh, but whatever. If making shitty films makes him happy, so be it. But seriously, to claim those movies are genius? He can't possibly be serious. If he is, then I simply have no retort. I'm admittedly somewhat of a hypocrite after lecturing people who watch his films, even when I myself have watched them. And I'll probably even eventually watch Postal, despite the likeliness that it'll be another example of poor film making. Maybe someday, he'll surprise us. But until then, he fucking sucks at film making.

An Opportunity To Possibly Stop Uwe Boll...

Well, I don't think anyone ever really believed Uwe would really stop making movies, even if we did manage the one-million signatures. Meh, people really need to stop watching his movies. I can't understand why anyone would give that bastard their hard-earned money. His movies are complete abominations of cinema. But If for whatever reason you ever feel the need to see any of his films, download them. You are forbidden to buy, rent, or go to the theater to see his films... JUST DON'T!

    Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Right you are. Not sure why I said that. You won't tell me that Megaman isn't third party, though.

    Super Smash Brothers Brawl

I've had it for nearly a week now. I have most of the major content already unlocked. I'm missing a large amount of the minor unlockable contents, though. Such as the trophies, stickers, few soundtracks, etc. Gameplay wise, I've noticed things are slower than in Melee. It's not considerably slower, but it is noticeable. In Melee when you were dashing across a stage and suddenly stopped, you would slide across the ground for a short distance as your character attempted to stop. However, in Brawl the stop practically occurs immediately. There's no slide whatsoever. When you let go of the control stick while running forward your character stops in place. It's a mild annoyance, and it's caused a bit of dissatisfaction among many of the Super Smash Bros. fans. It's not breaking the game, though. New addition to the series is an item called the Smash Ball. It'll sometimes appear floating around on the screen. If you've followed the Brawl updates over the past few months, you probably already know that this is the item that allows players to use their Final Smash. The Smash Ball, when broken allows the characters to use an incredibly powerful supermove. Most often, irrelevant of anyone's current health percentage it's almost a guarantee for an easy K.O. Granted, to my surprise, many people figure out ways to waste them. Most of the characters have their own unique Final Smashes. Although some of them do share Final Smashes with each other. It's definitely a nice addition to the game, though. In multiplayer people will fight to the death to get the Smash Ball when it appears. It typically seems to take 3-4 hits to destroy. But when you do manage to destroy it, most people are fleeing away from you in hopes of escaping death. Brawl's character roster is for the most part well received on my part. The same certainly cannot be said for everyone. I know when the character roster was first released there was a great deal of complaints and disappointment going around among the fans. Them claiming that Sakurai had failed, and had ruined the game. It's my understanding that a large deal of the fans were expecting a 40+ character roster and with some of them expecting as many as 45+. These people clearly had set their expectations way too high. Things seem to be calmer though since the initial leak of the character roster. Generally, it's a mostly satisfying character roster. Though even I will admit there's a couple of characters that I wish had been playable, but aren't. Namely third party characters such as Megaman, Ridley, and a couple of others perhaps. Ridley is a boss in Brawl, though. Clearly, he's much too large to be playable, but it still would have been awesome had that been a possibility. In terms of graphics it's nothing incredibly, really. It's no doubt an improvement over Melee, but it's nothing major. The graphics have a pleasing appearance, though. The colors are very vibrant and smooth. Especially impressive is the background visuals in all of the levels. Everything is displayed at very decent framerates, too. I haven't noticed any glitches or moments where the gameplay seemed to bog down in framerate. The soundtrack among all things is one that excels completely. I forget the exact number, but it's around 250 separate soundtracks in Brawl. That's just amazing. Sakurai managed to pull together dozens of incredibly well regarded music composers from all of these classic game series. There's a huge variety of music. While I may not be crazy about each and every one of the songs included, it's a guarantee that anyone can find a handful of songs that they want to listen to while Brawling. Brawl suffers most with it's online mode. When the game was first released a majority of people were almost completely without the ability to play online. Some of the issues since then have been fixed apparently, but most people are still have problems with it. One thing common is while waiting for players to join into a match with you, you'll receive an error message. I forget what the error is specifically, but it occurs frequently for many players. Even if you manage to get into a match online, there's no guarantee that you'll able to play. I've personally experienced a lot of varying degrees of poor latency. It ranges from being a mild lag, that creates an extra challenge with the delayed control responses, all the way to being completely unplayable. The lag for me was so terrible at times that it'd be literally unplayable. I'd completely freeze up, and then maybe 4-5 seconds later unfreeze for a second or so then refreeze. It's not possible to play under those conditions. However, when it does work it's generally entertaining despite the inability to communicate with the other players. It's certainly not on par with playing a Brawl match with a couple of friends in your room, but it's the next best thing. It's definitely better than playing against the the A.I. Though, if anyone disconnects while in an online match, that person is replaced with a bot. Luckily, it does show a tag displaying that it's a bot. Otherwise, you'd have no idea whether you were playing against humans or bots. In whole, if you're a fan of the past Super Smash Bros. games, you'll probably find this one just as much if not more enjoyable. I sincerely doubt people are going to be going back to Melee again wishing Brawl had been as great as it's predecessor. In my opinion, Brawl is an improvement over Melee. Whether that be because it has a considerably larger character roster, has a larger stage selection, or has a MUCH larger music collection. Brawl is better on almost all fronts. The only thing holding Brawl back is Nintendo's naive and over-protective approaches towards the online community.

    Super Smash Bros Brawl

This forum is slow. This is already old news. Nah, but seriously, the internet has been crazy for the past couple of days. When this information started leaking people were going crazy. The character roster slowly increased, and had grown past 35 characters. There was a lot of false information going around with people photoshopping a lot of fake images. Most of which have been proven to be false/incorrect/fake. A lot of people were questioning a lot of the characters. Practically everything leaked was argued over. People arguing over whether or not the clones were returning, and whether they're actually clones. A lot of people are angered about the return of clones, and others angered that not all clones are returning from SSBM. The 35 character roster is looking accurate, but all of the information hasn't been leaked yet, so there's a chance of more characters being revealed. It's possible more stages will be revealed. There's 41 stages rumored; 40 of which have been confirmed. 30 new stages, and 10 from melee. MELEE STAGES: Rainbow Ride Temple Brinstar Yoshi's Island Corneria Big Blue Onett Green Greens Pokemon Stadium 1 Jungle Japes NEW STAGES: Battlefield Final Destination Delfino Plaza Luigi's Mansion Mushroomy Kingdom [Overworld/Underworld] Mario Circuit Rumble Falls Bridge of Eldin Great Sea Norfair Frigate Orpheon Yoshi's Island Battleship Halberd Lylat Cruise Pokemon Stadium 2 Spear Pillar Port Town Castle Siege Wario Ware Distant Planet Smashville New Pork City The Summit Skyworld Mario Bros. Flat Zone 2 Pictochat Electroplankton Shadow Moses Island Green Hill Zone Ridley confirmed as a boss. Not yet confirmed whether he's playable. It's seeming unlikely, though. Master Hand confirmed to be returning as a boss from the previous SSB games. Taboo is confirmed as a boss. Not much is known about this character or whether he's playable (unlikely). Super Smash Bros. Brawl Intro (Only the starting roster is shown) Super Smash Bros. Brawl; Game Mode Introduction Movie Five minute video with various characters fighting R.O.B. can be seen ingame in this video Visit here for a lot of other leaks Or here (above link has more information, though)

    Gears Of War...worth Beating?

I was never bored playing Gears of War, so it's a bit difficult for me to say whether you should continue or not. I've played and beat the game three times. Once on each difficulty setting. That's only worth it if you're fond of the game. For me, the gameplay was nearly perfect. But yeah, like Monkey said, if you're not enjoying playing the game you might as well quit. Then again, I'm not entirely sure where you are either. Brumak? That large creature with the gigantic weapon connected to it's back? I think the last time you see that is past the part where you've got a timer and you have to escape the garden before you run out of time. Then there's the cutscene with the Brumak chasing you like the tyrannosaurus from Jurassic Park. That one? If so, then you've still got atleast a good two hours left. What's left in the game, hmm... If I'm not mistaken you haven't even entered into the core of the planet yet. Or have you? I'm having trouble remembering. In either case, honestly, the game doesn't change up a whole lot. The art style, gameplay, weapons, and everything are more or less the same. The experience isn't going to change up a whole lot. There are a couple of cool bosses you get to fight later on, but I wouldn't finish it unless you feel inclined just to say you've completed it.

    Golly Gosh!

Haha, THIS are WIN. But seriously, political correctness is getting so ridiculous it's becoming difficult to laugh about it. What people really need is a nice dose of desensitisation. This means stop whining over petty things. It's just pathetic. Just like it's national news when someone utters the "OMG"N"WORD" or "ho". Overly-sensitive morons is the reason society is deteriorating.

    Hey

Wrong. Rattus is on the left, and the woman on the cover is a disguise. The data on the CD(s) is video footage and pictures of those two dirty bastards engaging in sexual acts with various animals. I know this because I recorded it. I'm a little pissed off, yeah, because they had all the fun. Neeeeeeext time... something, something. But seriously, I bet it is. Or hey, maybe it's just some music CDs, right?
