'highway Of Death' In The Gulf War

ok Accele, you got me there, my non-standard but accepted usage is not 'proper' grammar :P Though I dont see how it is so ludicrous, you made an incorrect observation, displaying once again your inability to comprehend context, or perhaps your deliberate perversion of it.Either or isnt exactly clever. You dont have any other tricks and methods though.

so now you understand the relevance, horay for you, and you also didnt make the full quote .Difference is though, I was simply answering the question of 'what civs', so I only posted the relevant part ;) And now it comes down to what we each believe here doesnt it? Of course we will be in disagreeance.

but sure, lets not upset the status quo A couple of corrections, I never 'implied' Logan meant nukes, I said it "sounds like", you know what that means right? I also never said that you wanted oil, I said you need someone to pump it for you, as you know, nuking the region would probably kill off a lot of the locals.Oh, and "evil"? Hah, what you think and what I say are obviously two very different things. Civs do have to do with the argument, please dont be so ignorant.Nuking is a great example of excessive use of force, also very relevant to this topic.

Im ridiculous? Perhaps you might check just who the quote of mine was directed to before getting all huffy.Seeing as that was obviously too much for you to manage, Im not surprised you have difficulty following and understanding the rest of my arguments Well done. BTW, what the hell makes you think Logan needs you to protect him? Last I was aware, hes quite capable of holding an argument.

Truly awesome. Im flattered, but is your joy at the mistaken belief that I have used improper grammar? If so, you better check again :P

Yes, he was trying to say that Chavez pissing off the United States is not a reason for him to dislike the man.You can interperet it how ever you like, but the opinion is not uncommon here. We all know what he was trying to say sure, problem is we seem to know two different things, one is correct translation, and the other is spin doctory, reminiscest of me being called a 'terrorist' by I believe yourself and Accele.

The pinnacle of debate right here folks. he would be doing me a fovour, giving me one less place to procrastinate.Oh dear, Id have to find somewhere with less right wing ass hats about Bio was not making an argument, it was a weak threat, how exactly should I respond? "Oh yes sir Mr Biohazard sir!"? Yourself hasnt exactly made any kind of vaguely intelligent remarks in a long time. You are quite sure unless you are wrong? Ah Icon, thats why I said "sounds like" as it "sounds like" other weak justifications. As for the argument that we should not be debating if this is right or not becasue it wasnt against the 'law', well I think if you look back through history you will see a lot of practices we have decided to leave behind that were once legal. And Logan, thanks for the support but its more fun with extra quarry. All Bio did was raise a red flag.

It is not. Stop trying to twist what I made crystal clear. I specifically said "enemy soldiers" in every case, thereby not touching the considerably messier subject of a hostile nation's civilian population. Furthermore, nowhere did I indicate that I am supportive of the hypothetical use of nuclear weapons in any scenario due to the unique and lasting consequences of nuclear weapons. In fact, I specifically inserted the word "fortunately" to show that I'm glad there's MAD (I know, I'm a poet and don't know it), since it keeps countries from employing nuclear weapons. Logan Hartke seeing as you lumped all people in the convoy as "enemy soldiers", I felt it ok to assume you felt the same way about other civs in the vicinity of soldiers. Biohazard, go ahead, be an ass yourself.

Yes, Ive heard of fallout amazingly.Believe it or not though the military uses lots of things that are dangerous to its own troops at high/prolonged exposure during use.Just how many casualties did the US suffer from Japans bombs? Or were they smart enough to move away first? A non nuclear point - Logans argument is akin to saying its alright to completely level a city in order to hit a small taget as long as it may save just one of your soldiers lives. And the thought of using nuclear weapons in Iraq sounds horrible to me in debate, I hope you were sarcastic, it doesnt show.

sounds like an argument for the open use of nuclear weapons Becasue sooo many coalition lives were lost in that conflict. Except that consequences from the use nuclear weapons will end up killing plenty of your own people, thereby making that comparison completely invalid outside of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki context, in which case I would agree. Logan Hartke It wont kill your own people if you dont drop them on them Then again, you need someone to pump that oil for you right? And it would cost more to pay US citz to go over there and dress up in rad suits.

    X1650pro Vs 7600gs

clock speed isnt everything, generally its a marketing tool.Look at the relatively low clock speeds of the new intel chips that blow everything else away, and how AMD was able to perform on par with higher clocked pentiums for so long. Its only one area out of many that can be a bottleneck.

Ah, his statement says "so he upsets the US,that's not a problem to me", not "well he upsets the US, so that's all I need to know to like him" - notice the difference?

They probably all wanted to strike back having just had their asses kicked, but the reality was they had nothing to strike back with.Air superiority + modern munitions = no chance for the Iraqi army. You really believe they would have tried another large scale invasion? They need to keep something for home defense. If your argument is that they were planning to invade and take over Iraq, well, that doesnt really make them much better than Iraq invading Kuwait... Err Logan, actions speak louder than words. They had jsut had an awesome up close and personal demonstration of exactly why it was suicide.Youve got no kind of moral justification whatsoever for what was done.
