Got to ride on a 135 while it refueled another aircraft today, shit was cash.

Raptor, just out of linguistic interest, what does 'shit was cash' mean. I am unfamiliar with that phrase. Seriously, please explain :).

A failing 4chan meme. Started by some guido called John who, after taking on Anon in an internet flamewar, had a mysterious road accident and ended up with a pole through his head. "Break cutting" was then added to the list of Anon's mighty powers.
I believe the term "shit was cash" roughly translates to "things were good".

That's actually a classic Dutch greeting. At least that's what the strange man who wanted to show me kittens told me...

Fuk you Yuropeeans and your easy travelling distances and dense rail nets, having a US meetup would be insane logistically :(

I am American, and I think most of us have cars, or at least an airport nearby. Wouldn't be that hard to meet up. It cost me about 75 pounds to get to London and back to base, that's about 122 bucks. its more expensive to travel in Europe.

I checked, its 77 miles from base to London, so 154 miles round trip, according to my calculations, if i average 27 mpg highway in my car, thats just over 5 gallons, being generous on gas prices, $3.80 a gallon, it'd cost me 22 bucks to make that trip in the states.

So when you think about it, the travel in the states is super cheap when compared to Europe. Ofcourse you have to consider them flying over here would be pricey, but if they happened to be over here for what ever purpose, like I was. Then a meetup would be cheaper and easier than if we were there.

You mean it's expensive to travel in Britain. We get ripped off royally for public transport, and it's far from the best in Europe.

Thinking about it, we also get severely ripped off for petrol too.

I've got the XTI, aslo a few years old now, but runs like a champ Posted Image. Yours is the successor to mine. SLRs are awesome!

Took these two last summer (I'm not a photoshop pro, so you can see the photo lines in the panoramic). Sadly I don't have the HQ copies on my laptop, so these facebook ones will have to suffice. They were taken during my hike up to the top of Mount Bourgeau in the Rocky Mountains.
