The earthquake is "Karma payback for Pearl Harbour?"
Ok, any American who believes that, consider this:

The Japanese were already attempting to open surrender negotiations, which the USA ignored, before dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The US Navy and Air Force both claimed shortly afterwards that their conventional operations would soon have forced Japan into surrender anyway.
Hiroshima was a target of very little military significance and Nagasaki wasn't even on the official list of recommended targets. It's estimated 120,000 people, the huge majority of which were civilians (it's thought roughly one in seven of the Hiroshima victims were Koreans, brought in for slave labour) were killed directly by the these pointless bombings and a further 100,000 died from the radiation effects in the years following.

So, Karma's catching up from WW2 is it? Head's up America...
