The Tiger's wheels and tread links are all cast. There are no welds to be seen here.

Why I've been so quiet the last couple of weeks:

Ambassador class, NCC-26517 U.S.S. Yamaguchi. Launched in the 24th Century, she served Starfleet for some 60 years with one refit. She found herself part of Admiral Hansen's emergency response fleet gathered at Wolf 359 to defend Earth from the first Borg incursion. It is presumed the Yamaguchi was the fourth ship destroyed in the battle, when she charged the cube alongside the U.S.S. Bellerophon as the Borg tractored and neutralised the U.S.S. Saratoga. (DS9: 'Emissary')
Going to make an animation with it once the textures are all done.
Also an error: Her registry confused me, at first on looking at the studio model, one can quite clearly see NCC-26517 so I went with that. However, the numbers on her nacelles read NCC-26510, something I didn't notice until very close inspection. It turns out, NCC-26517 belongs to U.S.S. Excalibur (TNG: 'Redemption, Pt2' and VOY: 'Survival Instinct'). The Yamaguchi studio model was, in fact, a recycled Excalibur and since it's only on screen moment shows it flying away from camera, the studio crew didn't bother replacing the saucer's registry number. I will be correcting this on my texture.
