We are now a full week closer to release, things are going well and the beta testers have found some unknown bugs so that's all pretty good stuff. There isn't too much to say at this point other than to hang tough, and the release is still on course for early July. That may not be too specific but it's at least better than "soon ™".

There are a few issues I have noticed people mentioning so I will address those. The first is TFD and that other multipack of cnc games. Previous blitz releases were not compatible with these versions of Zero Hour, but I am happy to report that the upcoming release WILL work with them.
Second is the AI, again yeah the AI will work 100% with this release.
Finally, yes there will be a campaign, but the Allied campaign is not complete.

There are some new screen shots on our ModDB page:

And there are some more tutorial videos. These ones go over the building of bases and the use of strategic air power.

Field Marshal Dirty Harry has been sharing some of his advanced tactics with me, so later in the week I will post up the last series of videos to complete the series and cover these advanced tactics.

We will get that new Blitz with a full Allied Campaign? You said Korona, that you don't want to release something half-assed... smile.gif

There will be some allied missions. there will be more later. The issue isn't about half-arsed or not, the mod is defiantly ready for release. The question you have to ask yourself is if you want to play the mod at the start of the summer or at the end?

Actually that would be pretty pointless, its the law of the knife. The mod is done when I cut it and then it's done.

Just want to let you guys know that I've been waiting for this to release for literally years, and I HAVEN'T forgotten about your wonderful, and awesome mod. I think I've aged 4 years since I first visited these forums (maybe more), and can't wait to get my hands back on the game (mod) that killed hours and hours of my youthful time. This is a mod that I feel really, more than any other game (nevermind mod), gives a great feel for the tactical warfare during WW2. Yes, it's not a perfect simulation, but the feeling of it comes much closer to what reality actually was than any simulation I've ever played.

Thank you all for putting so much time and effort into this mod, and for not letting it die. If I wasn't so poor I'd be donating money right now worshippy.gif

If you are poor, and unable to send money, then send body parts. They fetch good prices on the black organ market.
