Well, I finally decided to blow the dust off of max and fire her back up. I've been in a bit of a tanky-mood cause of world of tanks, so I figured a tank model would be a good place to start. Making progress, slowly but surely =D

quack

noticed a few issues on the render; plus i feel like the chassis is abit too skinny. Fucking blueprints are off; the sides and top don't line up with the front =( Roadwheels also need some adjustment, as well as the general space between the top of the treads and the bottom of the treadwells. Fairly easy fixes though. That turret assembly is the single hardest thing i've ever fucking made though. I reworked it three times, and I still think it looks slightly off. fuck.

It's always the shapes that look easy that tend to be the most complicated...

I haven't decided yet, we'll see how the final model turns out :P

Most of the main details are done; though I need to finish the parts around the exhaust pipes. I also don't really like how the spare tread segments turned out, so I'll probably end up redoing those. But other than that, all I have left are accessories. Shovels and whatnot.

At least I don't swallow.

And yeah, she's been in the works awhile now :P

Moar things. As done as it's going to be for awhile with exams coming up. Added shrubbery for a splash of color. I tried making camo netting for the barrel, but I couldn't get it to look right. If anybody knows a good way to make camo netting without an alpah map, let me know :P

Make the side skirts beat up a bit, they're way too uniform right now. also, model some suspension bits for the road wheels, you can see they're hanging loose atm. Same with the extra tracks on the side. They need mounting points. Same with the side skirts too.

Then learn how to make tank tracks that work with reactor and cum buckets.
