You won't have to do any modeling, most of the modeling is already done, Ill create UVW templates for you to draw on and just return your finished work to me and Ill apply it.

ok, so you guys send me stuff, like templates, right? THose are like little bits and pieces of the actual unit. OK? and then i draw it and make it look friggin as realistic as i can and then send it back? did i miss something

Here ya go USA05, its a small statue, simple skin job to get accustomed to skin and texture drawing.
3 files, 1 is a .bmp that is your template to draw over(you'll prolly think of it but just incase, always leave the original layer untouched, use only for reference)
And 2 .jpg for reference, one is the actual and the other is the model.

If you have any question about what your looking at, don't hesitate to ask.

How about if I make an act of war scenario for Civillization 3 based on your excellent mod to gain support from that community. Just an idea, i'll look into if its fesable when I dabble with it's scenario creater if you give me the OK.

WHat exactly tdo i do with it? Extract it and then open all the files with photoshop? And then what? Draw all over which one? Sorry, first time, but i REALLY want to help.

The .bmp file is th eonly one you need to draw on, the other are just your reference. We want the .bmp to look like the real statue, which you see in one of the .jpg images.
try to make it look weathered and old but not to much.

If you think you need it I'll label the template so you can recognize the different surface areas better.

DUDE!!! DOnt ask me!! i GOt friggin grounded cause i got a c in Biology!!! GRR, but i got started yesterday, and i got most of the main colors on there. I just need to whether it down a bit and add some stuff to make it look like the reall statue and not some 2nd hand crap. sorry for the wait, but ill do my best to get it done soon.

Hey Pestilence64, that statue file you gave me is coming along nicely, i brought my C in Biology back up to an A-. Yah! How would you like me to do the coloring? faded like in the jpeg? or like it was just painted?

Give it a little fading, some light cracks, semi old like its beenn thru a few sandstorms.
