That’s really easy to fix so don’t worry, Phil probably just hasn't got round to sorting it out yet.

Right, don't worry about the lesser graphical glitches; we're still compiling everything, so there's bound to be small errors like that - its an easy fix though, like Mig pointed out.

*cough*SIG*cough*

If they don't make it available in skirmish, I might (with their conscent) release a patch for that as well.

lol, you & your patch tongue.gif it seams like when ever some one mentions naval war you are there to post about your patch. Well at least I know your make another patch if they don’t add naval war to single player for the next version.

Is anyone working on a new patch then at Derelict Studios?
Flamethrower soldiers would be nice, but you could only build so many to prevent some kind of fiery holocaust or whatever.

Flamethrowe infantry would be useless, since you can't empty garrisoned buildings like in generals.

They could be good for destroying buildings or other infantry; but we already got units for that.

These Screens look great, good work! By the way the Tiger one's turret is just a bit too far forward, other than that this game looks great.

I know I'm horribly late with this, but flamer troops could empty buildings in RA2YR.

By 'entering' them. Considering how slow blitz infantry move, they would not survive the approach. When he was talking about clearing garrisons,I assume he meant at a range.

I know he meant at range, hence his "Generals-style" comment. rolleyes.gif

In EBFD, Harkonnen Flame Troopers are given heavier armour to give them a better chance of closing with the enemy (even Atreides and Fremen snipers need two shots). I thought that if such an idea were implemented, Blitz flametroopers could either be faster of have heavier armour to improve thier chances of assaulting a building.

Still, flames and flamethrowers have other issues in RA2YR, and that IMO is why they are better left out. Not because they can't evict troops from buildings (even if it isn't "Generals-style").
